How we count
About the data
twelvepoints.tv is a fan site. We love the contest, and we'd rather show an empty box than a made-up number.
Where it comes from
Contest details, entries, results and per-country votes are imported from each year's article on English Wikipedia, licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Wikipedia in turn cites the EBU's official scoreboards.
How we check it
- A voting table is only imported if every country's votes add up to the total Wikipedia publishes for it.
- Then every entry's votes must add up to its official score for that show. If any don't, the build fails.
- In 1956 the juries voted in secret and only the winner was announced, so that year has no scoreboard.
- 2020 was cancelled. Its songs are listed, but there are no results.
Countries that changed
Entries keep the name a country competed under at the time, for example Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro, or FYR Macedonia. Each country page will link to the states it came from and the ones that followed it.
Previews and lyrics
We don't host any audio. Previews are 30-second clips streamed from Apple Music or Deezer, each with a link to the full track. We never publish full lyrics; word statistics are calculated from them and only the numbers are kept.
